Eligibility: You must work for an Employer subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement with Local 46 IBEW or a special agreement which requires the Employer to contribute to this Plan's Trust Fund on your behalf.

Conditions Which may Result in Loss of Some or All Benefits

Normal Retirement

Age 65 or over

a. 10 or more years of Credited Service with either 2 years of Credited Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours, or

b. 5th Anniversary of participation without a break in service 

c. Effective June 1, 1997 you have completed one (1) or more hours of Covered Employment on or after June 1, 1997 and have earned five (5) years of Credited Service.

Monthly Retirement benefit earned to your Normal Retirement Date plus any monthly retirement benefit earned after your Normal Retirement Date.

a. Monthly Life Annuity guaranteed for 60 months; 

b. 100% Joint Annuity Form; 

c. 75% Joint Annuity Form 

d. 50% Joint Annuity Form; 

e. Level income Option 

f. Pop-up Option 

a. Return to work after Retirement; 

b. Termination before Vesting

Special Early Retirement

Age 55 or over, but before 65.

a. Same as (a.) above; 

b. Have at least 30,000 Covered Hours of Employment (including Related Plan Service) and 

c. Have at least three (3) years of Credited Future Service during the preceding five (5) Plan Years. 

Monthly Retirement benefit earned to your Special Early Retirement Date.

Same as Normal Retirement.

Early Retirement

Age 55 or over, but before 65.

10 or more years of Credited Service with either two (2) years of Credited Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours.

Monthly Retirement benefit earned to your early retirement date reduced by 1/2 of 1% for each month your retirement precedes age 62 and 1/4 of 1% for each month that retirement precedes age 65.

Disability Retirement

Any age before age 65 when you become totally and permanently disabled while an active employee.

10 or more years of Credited Service with either two (2) years of Credit Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours.

Monthly Retirement earned to your Disability Retirement Date (subject to reduction if not active).

Same as Normal Retirement.

a. You recover from your disability before age 65; 

b. You obtain gainful employment. 

Death Benefit

a. Age 55 and eligible for Early, Special Early or Normal Retirement.

a. 10 or more years of Credited Service with either two (2) years of Credited Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours, or

b. at least five (5) years of Credited Service with one (1) hour worked on or after 06/01/97. 

Survivor's portion of the 75% of the Joint and Survivor Benefit.

Benefits commence on the first day of the month following employee's death.

No surviving spouse.

b. Any age before retirement, but not eligible for Death Benefit (a) above.

a. 10 or more years of Credited Service with either two (2) years of Credited Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours, or
b. at least five (5) years of Credited Service with one (1) hour worked on or after 06/01/97. 

Survivor's portion of the 50% of the Joint and Survivor Benefit.

Benefit commences on the date the employee would have attained age 55.

No surviving spouse.

c. Any age before retirement while a Plan participant.

a. 10 or more years of Credited Service with either two (2) years of Credited Future Service or 3,000 Covered Hours, or
b. at least five (5) years of Credited Service with one (1) hour worked on or after 06/01/97. 
c. 400 hours of employment in any one year.

A monthly annuity payable over a period not to exceed sixty (60) months.

100% of contributions made to the Plan on your behalf.
