Local 46 occasionally provides leadership education to its members through instruction on topics such as: Building More Inclusive Unions, Introduction to Labor History, Representation, Fundamentals of Negotiations, Introduction to Organizing, Trust Funds and Trustees Duties, Legislative Primer, Techniques & Strategies For Effective Communication, Advanced Organizing, Advanced Grievance Handling and Hiring Halls, Leadership & Ethics, and Operations of the Local.
Classes previously taught to members are now being developed into a video series which will, in the future, be available to interested members.
Periodically Local 46 holds educational classes on these topics and more at the hall. When classes are scheduled, they will be added to our website and calendar. So check back for future classes being offered. If you have any questions about leadership education or the future video series, you can contact Angela Marshall @ 253-395-6520 or by email.
