How To Begin The Retirement Process
Contact the Office Manager of IBEW Local 46, or the Administration Office listed below, to begin the application process at least six (6) months in advance of retirement.
Complete the paperwork and return it along with a copy of your birth certificate to the party from which it was sent.
If you are retiring on disability, also enclose a copy of your Social Security determination for each Pension you are applying for. A Social Security Disability Award is not a guarantee of disability.
You will then be contacted for more information, or with Pension approval, including the benefit amount.
