The Agreement includes yearly wage increases and boosts employer contributions for health care insurance. “This contract was made possible because of the hard work of the leaders and members who served on our negotiating committee,” says International President Edwin D. International Broadcast Representative Ro Wratschko was in town again this past July, 2008 and taught a Broadcast Utility class. This class helps prepare members of the Broadcast Unit to be hired as Utility workers for FOX and CBS sporting events.
Ro Wratschko worked for many years as a Freelancer member of the Broadcast Unit and is extremely knowledgeable in this line of work. The information and training he shared while teaching this class was very valuable and provided good practical experience for members of the Broadcast Unit.
I personally want to thank the International, Peter Homes, and Ro Wratschko for this opportunity and to help further educate members of Local 46. Click here to view photos of the 2007 training.
