Our Robo-Dial program

Due to some considerable technical difficulty, we have modified our original hopes for member access to our robo-dial system. Our hope was to make it more integrated with our members so that they could adjust their own preferences; however, the company that we are working with had difficulty in the programming. We may still have our own program written in the future, but for now the best we can hope to do is create a process by which members can change their preferences through our administrative support staff versus electronically themselves. For now a worksheet will be provided for you to fill out and mail/email in or drop off at the Hall with your desired changes. . So, here it is in a nut shell: Are you an avid participant who wants to hear everything? No worries, the default is to receive all alerts via all mechanisms (i.e. home phone, cell phone, text, email, pager). Want to only get information on Negotiations and death of members? No problem, below a matrix is included to show how you can pick and choose what and how you want to receive news from the Hall. Just fill in the matrix (provided as a return postcard) according to your preferences. Use the color decoder to reference the types of alerts that will be sent under that category, then cross reference the matrix and fill it in with your preferences. For example, to only hear about negotiation news and death of members, mark the boxes under ORANGE for either phone 1, phone 2 and/or email; also mark the box under SMS for the phone that receives TEXT. Or . . . You may want emails alerts only. Pick the categories you want and mark the matrix accordingly to which email and which category(ies) you want, say yellow, blue and green for political, Clubs and Events. Now you will ONLY receive emails on those alerts. What you can currently do at the IrisDispatch.com website You can change your email address, phone number(s) or add a second email address. You can also mark which phone(s) receives text messaging if you prefer that method. Simply log on to IrisDisptach.com with your Card number as the user name and the password is IBEW+your card number (example: log in, enter your User Name = A1234567 and Password = IBEWA123567). Once in the system you will be able to change only your information. REMEMBER! This is a separate database and any changes here do not reflect on the information in the Referral or Labor Power system at the Hall. We understand that there will be some confusion at first, so please be patient while we return your calls and update your “contact preferences matrix”. You don’t want to receive any information at all??? Just let us know and we will remove you from the system by making your file 'inactive'. Thank you for your patience and we hope this helps.
